Nicole and Rusty are both wonderful teachers here in Jacksonville. I had a chance to tell their engagement story at the end of 2017, and it’s then that I learned of their love for Disney. In fact, as a Disney-obsessed individual myself, I was more than amped when they told me of their plans to head to Disney World straight from their Jacksonville ceremony. So that’s exactly what happened. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony in downtown Jacksonville, and together we did a “Just Married” caravan to Orlando and the Happiest Place on Earth. I had a really great time spending time with them and their families and I know they will have a really happy future together. Here are some of the highlights from their big day.

The last weekend of March was greeted with the celebration of Sana & Jafar’s Wedding in St. Augustine. It was a beautiful, two-day extravaganza! The first day of celebration was at The River House, and the next day was at The Treasury on the Plaza. Both are really exquisite wedding venues here in NE Florida, and I always love getting to tell someone’s wedding story there. A while back, my wife and I got to travel to NYC for Sana & Jafar’s engagement session. You can see that post HERE. While we were there in NYC, we really got a great chance to walk around the city with them a full day and get to know them and even have a meal with Sana’s parents. They really are an incredibly friendly and beautiful couple, and I wish them nothing but the best in their future together! Here are some of the highlights from the two-day wedding weekend.
When I got the call to photograph Lauren and Tim's wedding in historic Amelia Island at the Florida House Inn, I was so excited. It was going to be a very small wedding with just a handful of family and friends. It really was a perfect intimate wedding.
Lauren and Tim got married outside under the Florida sun as casual passersby walked along the sidewalk, slowing to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom. The party moved inside to the restaurant of the Florida House Inn for dinner, cake and conversation, and it ended with a horse drawn carriage ride off into the darkness. It was a real delight getting to be there and document the day for them. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Rebekah and Skyler's wedding, though on a hot day on Memorial Day weekend, was perfect and beautiful nonetheless. The chapel at Beaches Museum and History Park is so quaint and timeless and it was the perfect setting to watch this gorgeous couple tie the knot. Afterwards, the reception was held a few blocks away closer to Jacksonville Beach at Ocean City Church. We got to do some portraits on the beach as onlookers wished the happy couple their best congratulations. Here are some of my favorites from the wedding.

Jena and Luca's wedding was the most quaint and special I've had the pleasure of witnessing in a while. Held at the beautiful Epping Forest Yacht Club along the St. John's River in Jacksonville, their wedding was so beautiful. These two, like myself, are big Disney fans but didn't go overboard with their Disney decor. A few hidden Mickeys here and there like on the cake, etc. Their reception was one long table for their close family and friends and everyone danced into the evening as the sunset painted the sky. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.

Megan and Scott had a really beautiful and simple wedding at The Ribault Club in Jacksonville, FL. From the elegant and classy details all the way to the groom's purple/maroon tux, everything was done with a nice taste. They truly couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day outside, and I wish them all of the best in their new marriage together as they live in New York. Here are some of my favorite images from their wedding.

Kat and Chris had a simple and beautiful wedding ceremony that was greeted by a nice ocean breeze and a lot of happy friends and family who traveled from all across the country. Many of them battled crazy weather and delayed flights to make it to Florida on time to see their good friends tie the knot. Their ceremony took place on the patio at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I'm 90% certain that the bride and groom actually never stopped smiling from the moment the ceremony began to the moment they were brisked away at the close of the evening. I had such a great time capturing some of these moments for the two of them and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites I have posted below. All the best to you, Kat and Chris!
Ceremony: Omni Amelia Island Plantation
Reception: Walker's Landing at Omni Amelia Island Community
Videographer: Adam Pressley Films
Band: Bay Kings Band
Florist: Liz Stewart
Makeup: Patricia Kozack
Hair: Emily Mastronicola
Jillian and Adam met while attending the University of Florida in Gainesville. A lot of jokes were made on their behalf about it, but they were dating for 13 years before getting married. They have celebrated many events together over the years, but I think they will agree that their wedding is the cherry on top.
Their ceremony took place at the magnificent Omni Amelia Island Plantation right on the beach as the sun inched closer to the horizon. Their dog, Riley, AKA "Adam's Bestie", was even on hand to watch his parents tie the knot. Friends and family from all over gathered to witness a love story reach a new chapter. The reception afterwards at Walkers Landing, just on the other side of A1A, was a joyous party that blasted well into the night.
It was a real pleasure getting to photograph my two friends celebrate the new life in their long relationship. I wish them all the best in the future together, and smile with them as I showcase some of my favorite images of the day.
